About Ria Phatarphekar-Karmarkar

Ria is a facilitator with a focus on co-creation with young people and communities, to create meaningful work that inspires hope, joy and an opportunity to showcase underrepresented voices.

Ria works part-time at the Royal Exchange Theatre, and freelances for arts charities such as Odd Arts, to lead workshops on Anti-Radicalisation, Extremism, Mental Health, etc. in schools, colleges and alternative educational settings.

Having worked with The Proud Trust, a LGBT+ Youth Charity, Ria is also a trained Youth Worker and often facilitates arts and theatre related projects for children and young people.
